I am back from my break on meal planning or atleast blogging about it. This way I am more accountable and Kurt likes to tease me that this or that wasn't on the plan. Although it may say we are going to have a particular day sometimes it does not work and we have it another day. Which I am sure how it goes for many, unless your life is the same each day, etc. Not here. Our life changes as the weather does. Since this week is going to be exceptionally busy-rummage sale, three appointments, one meeting, and regular chores (maybe planting more corn), I already made up to pasta meals while I made breakfast.
Monday-Lasagna, salad, garlic bread
Tuesday-Leftovers-Kurt has his meeting
Wednesday-Spaghetti casserole (I made that and the lasagna up this morning and they are baby size)
Thursday-Pork loin chops, baked potatoes, green beans
Friday-Homemade sausage pizza
Saturday-Maybe going out to eat. We did not do anything special for Mother's Day because it was Kurt's weekend to work so we work doubly hard then.

I agree that posting my meal plan makes me feel much more accountable and organized. Even when I have a good idea about what I'm going to prepare all week, but haven't written it down, I feel scattered and my grocery shopping is more chaotic. It's hard to keep the motivation week after week, though.
I love participating in MPM. I get lots of ideas from the participants.
Even our Area Manager loves to read what we're having for dinner. lol
